Behind the Lens - Christina Drsek

Christmas trees, gender reveals and pandemic cruises. We are going Behind the Lens with Christina.

Video Transcript:

I'm Christina Drsek and this is my look Behind the Lens.

The University of Akron. UA will always hold a special place in my heart. This is where I first met Jeffrey and Ryan, probably 14 years ago. I was a wireless camera operator and I really love everything about UA.

My grandparents and I, and Rob, share an anniversary. Both my mom's mom and dad and my dad's mom and dad, which is this set of Grandparents, were all married within 3 days of each other. It was really special for me to be able to share that weekend as our anniversary which is their anniversary. So this is us giving them a cake.

The very first PEG Christmas tree. One of the random things I do here at PEG is I decorate. I decorate for all the holidays. I love decorating. Ryan lets me be creative and I get to spend his money.

This is my son, Cole. This was our baby announcement. Our second baby is a little girl and she is an IVF baby. So our theme for this was "science is cool," because without science we wouldn't have her. So we took him and told him he was going to be a scientist. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing or why he was doing it, but his little lab coat says big brother and he got to make little volcano stuff for our science experiment. And it's pink, because she's a girl.

This is a picture of me field producing an event. I love working live events. Ryan and I have worked together for many many years, in different places. Him as a Host and me as a Field Producer. We work really well together and I love working with Ryan.

This is a picture of Ryan and I having dinner in Chicago. This is probably 2010, maybe. Everybody knows Ryan loves to travel. I've only been to Chicago once and Ryan happened to be there at the same time. So he said let's go to dinner. So I got to go to dinner. I was with a friend of mine and he had his mom and we had Chicago pizza.

This is my new baby. Her name is Corina and Cole. He's six and she'll be one here pretty soon. It's so sad. I love this picture.

This is a Disney cruise. I'm a pretty big germaphobe. So we went on a cruise in a pandemic. Totally out of my comfort zone, but we had a ton of fun. We knew we were having a baby soon and we wanted to do one more big vacation with just us and Cole. And we had a blast. It was awesome.

Well, that's a little bit about me, and my family, and all the random things I do here at PEG. Thanks for watching.
