Pritt Entertainment Group takes home four Addys at the 2017 Akron-Canton ADDY Awards
Downtown Akron-based creative agency Pritt Entertainment Group (PEG) took home four ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation, including two Gold ADDYs at the 2017 Akron-Canton ADDYs held on February 24 at the historic Akron Civic Theatre.
PEG received a Gold ADDY in Cinematography for their work on the Tipoff Video that they created for the Cleveland Cavaliers. They also were the recipient of another Gold ADDY for Video Editing with their work on the 2016 Akron Zips Football Intro Video.
PEG’s 2016 Opening Night Behind The Scenes Documentary created for the Cleveland Cavaliers took home two Silver ADDYs in Cinematography and Branded Content & Entertainment For Online Film, Video & Sound.
PEG more than doubled their ADDY total this year, having previously received three ADDY Awards in the history of their company. This is the second ADDY for PEG’s work with the University of Akron, previously taking home a Silver ADDY in 2014 for their creative work on Campus Bus Interior Ads for Zips Men’s Basketball.
This year’s three ADDY Awards won with the Cavaliers are the first awards for the collaborations between PEG and the Cavaliers. “2016 was a big year for our team, and we got to create many pieces that we’re really proud of, so it’s exciting to see recognition like this. It means a lot to our team members who worked so hard on them.” said President and Co-Founder Ryan Pritt.
The competition is judged by experienced, industry professionals from across the country, including New York City which, Pritt said, makes it even more special. “It’s incredible to see how much creative work comes out of the Akron area, and to see our team’s work recognized not only here, but by creative professionals from other large markets is especially rewarding.”
PEG brings brands to life by offering high-end video production, animation, graphic design and branding services for a wide variety of clients locally, and throughout the country. Their headquarters are in a newly-renovated, historic 105-year-old building in downtown Akron.
