Pritt Entertainment Group takes home eight ADDYs at the 2019 Akron-Canton ADDY Awards
Downtown Akron-based creative agency Pritt Entertainment Group (PEG) took home eight ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation, including two Gold ADDYs, at the 2019 Akron-Canton ADDYs, held on February 22, at the historic Akron Civic Theatre. PEG received two Gold ADDY Awards, both in the category of Cinematography, for their work on the 2018 Vegas Golden Knights Intro Video and for eBay's Retail Revival commercials. The PEG partnerships with the Golden Knights and eBay were Silver ADDY winners as well. The Vegas Golden Knights Intro Video won in Silver awards in Sound Design and Animation, Special Effects or Motion Graphics, while Retail Revival took home a Silver for Internet Commercial; Online Film, Video and Sound. PEG also won a Silver award in Cinematography for their documentary collaboration with Akron-born musician, Kofi Boayke, Kofi: Made In Akron. Rounding out the eight awards were two Silver ADDYs for Advertising Industry Self-Promotion. The two winning promotional pieces were four-part mockumentary-style series, Hard Blocks, focused on their recreational league volleyball team, and the PEG Agency Video. “2018 was one of the best years in our company's 10-year history. I am very proud of this team and grateful for our incredible clients who allow us to continue to produce high-level work year after year,” said President and Co-Founder Ryan Pritt. The Akron ADDY competition, which takes place every February, is attended by over 400 advertising professionals from the Akron area and judged by experienced experts from all across the country. “It’s always great to see how much national work comes out of this area,” continued Pritt.
