PEG Receives Fifth Emmy Nomination
Pritt Entertainment Group (PEG) has received their fifth Emmy nomination, becoming a 2021 nominee for their work on the Akronite App Launch video. The nominees for the NATAS Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy® Awards were announced on Thursday, April 29th on the NATAS Lower Great Lakes social media pages. The downtown Akron-based creative agency previously received nominations in 2018, 2019 and 2020. PEG worked with the City of Akron and other downtown Akron partners to create the commercial spot highlighting the new Akronite app’s features and encourage Akron residents to support local businesses by “following the blimp.”

"It was a challenging year for everyone, but we’re so fortunate to have incredible clients that allow us to collaborate, be creative and do our best work.” The piece was nominated in the Commercial category, which includes four total nominees. The Akronite App Launch video received recognition earlier this year at the Akron American Advertising Awards, taking home eight awards, including Best Of Show. The Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy Awards Gala will take place virtually on Saturday, June 12th.
