We designed this multi-faceted marketing campaign with the University of Akron Athletics Department, promoting the 2013-14 men's basketball season. The campaign involved a wide variety of elements and was seen throughout the Akron-area.
We shot and created this intro video, which played on the video boards before every Zips home game at James A. Rhodes Arena. It was also distributed online and through social media.
Through a series of scheduled video shoots, we captured Zips players, standing back-to-back with fans. These photos would be utilized on various campaign pieces, and were downloadable on the BackTheZips.com microsite.
We designed an interactive microsite, BackTheZips.com, which promoted upcoming games and ticket sales, and also gave fans the chance to download photos that they took with Zips players. Working with our web partner, Studio Ace of Spade, we were able to launch the microsite, coinciding with the start of the season.
